Geothermal vertical loops are an excellent, space-saving way to save energy with your heating and cooling system. After holes are drilled into the earth, anywhere from 50 feet to 400 feet deep, in order to transfer the heat from your home into the earth or to absorb the warmth from the ground to transfer it to your home, depending on the season.
